Abstract: During recent years, the wine industry has become increasingly dynamic due to competition among wine organisations worldwide. In order to be competitive, many Indian wine organisations followed Wine Policies and Regulations and maintaining standards for quality wine production. Maharashtra is one of the typical states of wine- manufacturing in India which rank 1st. While wine consumption in India remains low the market has grown and developed considerably at growth of 25-30% annually in 2013. Wine industry in India is estimated to achieve 7.2 cr litres of wine consumption by 2020 at growing rate of 18%. The common average growth rate was 33.2% at the 2013. Thus, this study investigates the effectiveness of the implementation of Wine Policies, Regulations and standards to determine whether wine organisations consolidate the fundamental requirements of the domestic and international trade. Ten (10) wine organisations situated in Maharashtra which are currently following Wine Policies and Regulations were chosen as the research sites. A questionnaire and documents (Published & unpublished) based on the research was used as an instrument for data collection. Based on the study results, this study recommended that wine organisations should maintain the standards for their wines and certification and licensing. The significance of this study is to contribute a valuable guideline to Indian wine industry to consolidate their performances on the implementation of Wine Policies and Regulations increasing production under the standards specification to trading in international market.

Abstract: Motorcycles contribute significantly to the number of motorized transport on the roads in Ogun State, Nigeria. This development is attributable to poor public transport supply, urban sprawl and bad roads. The use of motorcycles in Ogun State is associated with high accident rate both on the side of the riders and the passengers. This study investigated the socio – economic effects of Okada riders in Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Areas of Ogun State, Nigeria. Questionnaire was administered on a randomly selected sample of 200 users in the area. Of the 200 questionnaires administered, 183 questionnaires were received for analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Questionnaire was also administered on a randomly selected sample of 100 operators in the area. Of the 100 questionnaires administered, 84 questionnaires were received for analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Secondary data was also sourced to serve as complement to the primary data, thus allowing for a robust research. Descriptive statistical tools such as percentages were adopted to present the socio - economic characteristics in the area. Findings showed that the majority of the commercial motorcyclists are adult between the aged 31 and 40 years. Most of them (72.9%) are married and are fairly educated. All are of male gender, 78.6% of 66 respondent are full-time operators and have been in operation for up to four years. The majority of the riders engaged in the business because of the pressing need to survive and sustain their families. Furthermore, most of the riders did not take the necessary safety precautions, they drank alcohol even during business hours and these reasons have been identified as major causes for their recklessness.

Abstract: The Aliero local government area is located at approximately latitudes 11°03'S, 12°47'N and longitudes 3°6'W and 4°27'E. In kebbi state, north western part of Nigeria, It also has a total area of 412 square kilometer and is bordered in the east by Tambuwal Local government area of Sokoto state in the North West by Birnin Kebbi local government area in the South West by Jega local government area. The study was carried out in Aliero local government area, Kebbi state Nigeria. Leaf exchange is crucial in the lifecycle patterns of a tree species, these also includes leaf fall, leaf emergence, leaf flush, death or senescence (leaf onset and leaf offset). The study of leaf dynamics is termed leaf Phenology. Phonological phases are reoccurring biological events that signal changes in climate, environmental conditions and genetic factors during the developmental growth of plants. Cassia Sieberiana L trees maintained significant foliage was recorded in March in individuals which did not become leafless.
